Single Cell and Spatial Biology in Precision Medicine Workshop 2024

The first Single Cell and Spatial Biology in Precision Medicine Workshop was held on December 13-20, 2024 at the Bellairs Research Institute in Holetown Barbados. The event gathered 39 researchers, including 10 trainees (postdoctoral fellows and PhD candidates) from 17 institutes across North and South Americas and Europe. During the workshop, participants discussed recent technological developments and advancements in computational methods for single cell and spatial omics, and application of these approaches for understanding molecular basis of developmental processes and complex disorders.
